The Right Equipment

Like the right clothing, the right equipment is an important part of having a fun and safe trip. If you don’t travel with your own equipment, both the Ski Apache Ski Shop and Snowboard Shop are ready to provide you with the latest equipment to ensure you have a great experience. Beyond this, review the skier's and rider's checklist below before leaving home to make sure you have the right gear. And remember, all these incidentals, as well as the latest ski wear, are available at the Ski Apache Sport Shop.

Skiers and Riders Checklist - beyond your board and boots or skis, poles, and boots:

√ Sunglasses
√ Goggles
√ Sunscreen
√ Lip Balm
√ Ski or Snowboard lock
√ Bag to carry clothing, boots, etc.
√ Long Underwear
√ Ski Pants or Bib Pant preferred
√ Outer Layer Jacket
   (Preferably waterproof/breathable shell)
√ Gloves or Mittens
√ Neck Gaiter
√ Turtleneck
√ Sweater or Fleece
√ Socks or Sock Liner
   (1 thin-medium weight pair should do)
√ Vest (for insulation)
√ Face Mask
    (if temperatures are well below 32)
√ Warm ups for after skiing or riding
√ Hat or Headband
