The Ski Apache Express (not affiliated with the Ski Apache Resort) operates 7 days a week during ski season. Reservations are strongly recommended especially during holidays and weekends as these dates book up quickly.

The drive time from Ruidoso takes approximately 45 minutes depending on road conditions. Parking is available at the Lincoln County Tour offices located 1009 Mechem Drive (Hwy 48) Unit 2, Suite 4 in Ruidoso. During Peak Season other departure times and one-way rides may be available. The Ski Apache Express departs at 7:30 AM from 1009 Mechem Drive and leaves Ski Apache at 4:00 PM returning to the Lincoln County Tours offices.
